This position will report directly to the Director of Operations. The candidate will lead a team of salaried and hourly employees who put together component parts to make assemblies, subassemblies, or completed units. The ideal candidate will have proven operations management leadership experience in aerospace structures/manufacturing, successfully leading operational teams and providing daily, hands-on knowledge of assembly requirements.
The successful candidate will typically have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 10 years of related experience, including a minimum of 8 years of progressive growth and experience in Manufacturing Management within the aerospace, military or defense industries with a focus and hands-on experience in manufacturing assemblies. AS 9100 knowledgeable with extensive FOD control background Proficiency with Enterprise Requirements Planning (ERP) systems to carry out the stated responsibilities, preferable SAP. Possess outstanding verbal and written skills and the ability to work with all levels. Ability to lead and develop other managers.
