Responsibilities

  • Manages inspection personnel, CMM operators and CMM programmers. 
  • Manages work distribution amoung inspection work force; as well as work flow in and out for CMM operations
  • Responsible to forecast labor requirements and develop training plans
  • Will make decisions at the execution level to facility the quality expectations of product as it moves through quality functions
  • Will develop technical plans to support customer requirements and company goals and objectives

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in a supervisor/leadership position
  • Ability to interpret CMM reports, data and dimensions
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and other Quality requirement documents
  • Knowledge or ability to run CMM, Laser Tracker, Faro, or Scanner inspection equipment
  • Must have working knowledge of FAI creation and the use of Net Inspect, Cytec, Visual Fair, etc.
  • Working knowledge of AS9100 requirements also needed
  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite essential
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required
