Triumph Integrated Systems provides a full range of integrated solutions for aircraft manufactures around the globe. We partner with key manufacturers to produce crucial components, systems and subsystems required to help maintain a competitive and technological advantage. We provide design, development and support of internally designed components, subsystems and systems, as well as production of complex assemblies using external designs. 
Based in West Hartford, CT, Triumph Electrons and Controls employs approximately 500 personnel. The Company’s key products and services include specializing in the design, development, certification, manufacture and repair of fuel pumps, fuel metering units, fuel controls and electronic engine control systems for helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft servicing military, commercial, regional and business jet market segments.

We are currently seeking an experienced Software Team Lead. This is an engineering level position with leadership responsibilities reporting to the Software Engineering Manager.  

While a fully experienced candidate is desired, the company will strongly consider any candidate who is looking for a growth opportunity or a next step in their career path. 


  • Must possess and have demonstrated the ability to manage and successfully execute development and production software engineering programs in a commercial or military aerospace market. 
  • Detailed knowledge of industry processes, standards, and best practices is an essential element of this position.

  • BS in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering or Computer Science required
  • MS in Engineering/Management or a Program Management certification is a plus
  • 3-5 years of relevant software development experience, aerospace a plus.
  • Prior team leadership or supervisory experience a plus.
  • Embedded software development experience using several low & high level languages is required, including C
  • Experience with version management and requirements management tools such as DOORS, Rational Change, Perforce and Polarian is very helpful
  • Understanding of source code configuration management preferred
  • Familiarity and hands-on experience with RTCA DO-178 and FAA certification a plus
