Responsibilities

Performs a variety of operations related to the maintenance of precision aerospace mechanical power drive products such as accessory drive transmissions, gearboxes, brakes, clutches, hubs, pumps and flight trim actuators. Conducts diagnosis of malfunctions. Uses precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specified tolerances and serviceability criteria following applicable maintenance documentation, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations. Disassembles, repairs, inspects, assembles and tests precision assemblies

Qualifications

 

  • High School Diploma, Advanced Technical Degree a plus
  • 5 years' experience in performing maintenance on gearbox or mechanical actuator systems a plus
  • Must be capable of reading drawings, understanding GD&T, maintenance documents, using hand tools, using precision measuring equipment.
  • Certified Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) Mechanics rating desired
  • Experience working in an FAA Part 145 Repair Station desired
  • Familiar with AS9100 processes and procedures
  • Must possess strong mechanical aptitude
  • Must be flexible to changing tasks and workload, and willing to work overtime, when required

  • Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
