The Staff Executive is the “right-hand” person to the Group CEO and has overall responsibility for running the CEO’s Office. The role is key to ensuring the proper execution of key strategic initiatives, along with running the mechanics of the office from the management of flow of information internally and externally, organization of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), to running of confidential programs.   The role will position the incumbent to take on a senior leadership role after the rotation of two years is complete.


The Staff Executive will be expected to achieve a number of specific objectives for the next 24 months including the following:

  • Establishment of a “play-book” for how the Office of the CEO is run and the way all of the components and functions of the businesses are integrated in how it is run
  • Organization and Execution of the operation of the SLT from the means of engagement of the team through to the running of the meetings through coordination of interactions between the CEO and the individual members of the SLT
  • Develop materials to support meetings between the Office of the CEO and the Board, the SLT, and the broader company
  • Program Management of confidential initiatives at the request of the CEO from project inception through to delivery
  • Develop tools and templates for use by the Office of the CEO


Technical Skills:

  • MBA and a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field from a top undergraduate institution
  • 2+ years of work experience in consulting, financial analysis, or program management
  • Overall knowledge, skills, and abilities that reflect: Quantitative analytical skills, Organization Skills, Communication Skills, Teamwork and Creativity

Leadership Skills:

  • Demonstrates strong project management expertise and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Outstanding ability to motivate others and gain buy-in on concepts and ideas
