  1. Operate, program, and manage CMM Machinery.
  2. Responsible for inspections of in-coming materials per engineering blue print and other delegated dimensions.
  3. Responsible for providing the needed training and discipline for other inspectors to utilize CMM machine.
  4. Will create, update, and manage programs required to inspect product lines to customer specifications.
  5. Conducts specials studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or effect cost reductions.
  6. Will direct and coordinate activities for CMM inspection including layout for in-process inspection and final inspection including First Article Inspections.
  7. Conducts research and/or development projects associated with the design and development of new products and services.
  8. Determines the most cost-effective integrated fabrication and inspection method to meet customer requirements.
  9. Resolves implementation and process problems and responds quickly to liaison requests related to manufacturing.
  10. Maintains close working relationships with all departments and individuals involved on assigned projects, and coordinates with customer representatives as necessary.
  11. Assist in the maintenance of a business culture which supports the Company’s overall business objectives and goals.
  12. Ensure proper safety procedure is followed within the team environment.
  13. Maintain clean work environment in full compliance with company, customer and government regulations.

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent plus 3 years as CMM Programmer.
  • 5 years Quality Engineering experience in a aerospace manufacturing.
  • Must have prior experience working in an aerospace, precision machining, manufacturing environment.
  • Requires experience with PC DMIS software. Experience with Global Classic Machine preferred.
  • Knowledge of GD&T and principle application to CMM Programs to ensure accuracy.
  • Strong knowledge of stamping processes and part conformance verification with CMMs and open set-up techniques for complex tight tolerance, stamped parts.
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively collaborate with co-workers and customers.
  • Prior experience in leading and providing technical leadership.
  • Ability to follow and comprehend verbal and written instructions as well as present information in both verbal and written form. Understand and analyze reports, legal documents and effectively present information to management and public groups.
  • Ability to perform mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts in all units of measurement in percentage, fractions and decimals as well as interpret graphs and technical drawings.
  • Requires excellent computer skills specifically MS Excel, 3D Modeling, etc.



Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
