    Based in Valencia, CA, Triumph Fluid, Power and Actuation employs approximately 200 personnel. The Company’s key products and services include design, fabrication, assembly and testing of advanced, high quality and hydro-mechanical products.


    We are currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer who will be responsible in improving manufacturing procedures and estimates utilizing the best techniques, technology and Lean practices to maintain current business, win new business, and be profitable. This role will require the individual to be comfortable working side by side with machinists and running machines.


    This is a working leadership role, this individual will champion this group and be very visible. 


    • Create Manufacturing Plans 
    • Develop estimates for time and resources to machine a part.
    • Create work instructions 
    • Creating machine programs
    • Create engineering change actions
    • Work with operators to solve problems and make improvements
    • Evaluating current machining operations and improving them to save time
    • Implement new technology and techniques to achieve and maintain world class performance.


    • 3-5 years' experience as a Manufacturing Engineer
    • 2 years in a management or supervisor role a plus
    • 4 year Engineering degree a plus
    • Hands on experience operating and programming CNC machines
    • Hand on experience with Lathe, Mill, and conventional machining
    • Experience machining parts
    • Strong experience with Solidworks and MasterCam (must be able to create machine programs in G-Code)
    • Manufacturing, Machining, and assembly experience
    • Blue print reading and GD&T
    • Developing the machining/production process to manufacture complex metal parts
    • Lean techniques and practices
    • Strong writing and analytic skills
    • Blue print reading and GD&T
    • Strong MS Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
    • Familiar with aerospace specifications a plus
    • Aerospace experience a plus
    • Team based problem solving
