Based in Valencia, CA, Triumph Fluid, Power and Actuation employs approximately 200 personnel. The Company’s key products and services include design, fabrication, assembly and testing of advanced, high quality and hydro-mechanical products.

 

We are currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer who will be responsible in improveing manufacturing procedures and estimates utilizing the best techniques, technology and Lean practices to maintain current business, win new business, and be profitable. This position reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Create Manufacturing Plans
  • Create estimates
  • Create work instructions
  • create engineering change actions
  • work with operators to solve problems
  • evaluate machining, assembly, and test and suggest opportunities to improve
  • implement new technology and techniques to achieve and maintain world class performance.

Qualifications

  • 4 year Engineering degree
  • 3-5 years' experience
  • Experience with Lathe, Mill CNC and conventional machining
  • Experience machining parts
  • Developing the machining/production process to manufacture complex metal parts
  • Lean techniques and practices
  • Strong writing and analytic skills
  • Blue print reading and GD&T
  • Solidworks and MasterCam
  • Strong MS Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
  • Manufacturing/Machining/assembly experience
  • Aerospace experience
  • Familiar with aerospace specifications
  • Team based problem solving
