Responsibilities

Designs and deliver programs to train all levels of personnel. Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.

  1. Performs all phases of learning design including analysis, design, development, and evaluation through-out the program for effectiveness.
  2. Designs, develops and implements creative solutions to address specific training and development needs based on organizations training priorities.
  3. Evaluate multiple medium forms of delivery for best impact and result.
  4. Collaborate with leadership team and TCAs in the design, development, and delivery of effective T&D programs.
  5. Work closely with shop employees in the delivery and effectiveness of training programs.
  6. Review and recommends e-learning platforms that are-cost effective and user-friendly with high impact results.
  7. Develop a vendor list of approved industry-focused T&D providers.
  8. Maintain abreast of emerging T&D trends.
  9. Conducts rapid-needs assessments and design as well as develop a training solution within a time sensitive deadline.
  10. Manages and implement all corporate and legally required training compliance.
  11. Collaborate with other team members to evaluate and implement a sound and effective training database.
  12. Conduct analysis of workforce to design, develop, and determine most effective training program and delivery for highest ROI.
  13. Develops instructor guides, trainee guides/booklets, and job aids.
  14. Managing multiple projects at one time.
  15. Train the Trainer
  16. Ensure proper safety procedure is followed within the team environment.
  17. Maintain clean work environment in full compliance with company, customer and government regulations.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources or related discipline, plus
  • 8 years direct experience in Training and Development with minimum 5 years designing, developing, implementing and delivering effective training programs with proven results.
  • Experience with designing and developing training for manufacturing environment.
  • Must have experience with project management and leading a project to implementation and delivery.
  • Must have experience working closely with leadership team to learn and understand training objectives to effectively support company needs in T&D.
  • Knowledge of various instructional design their effectiveness and most effective medium for delivery.
  • Must have superior written and verbal communication and listening skills to effectively communicate and relate to audience at all levels in a group or individual setting.
  • Strong mathematical skills with ability to calculate in percent, decimal, fraction, etc.
  • Requires intermediate to advance computer skills using MS Office Suite, training development software, graphic design, and video production and editing.
  • Ability to maintain calm under pressure as well as ability to calm the customer in time of uncertainty.
  • Ability to work well with others and influence a team to drive results.
  • Bilingual – English/Spanish, preferred.

 

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusion. Ability to interpret extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical and diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
