Overview

Triumph Aerospace Structures, a tier-one manufacturer for commercial, military, and business jet aircraft is currently seeking a Configuration Analyst to support the Engineering Programs for its Nashville, TN facility.  The Configuration Analyst plans and coordinates preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications to ensure customer contract requirements are met.

Responsibilities

This position will include responsibilities such as:

  • Reviews contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Analyzes proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system.
  • Coordinates modification records for management control.
  • Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor.
  • Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivilent
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office suite

Preferred Skills/Experience/Education

  • Technical degree or equivilent
  • 1 - 2 years experience in manufacturing environment
  • Catia V5 and Team Center or other graphical software
  • SAP or other ERP software
  • Ability to read/interpret blue prints
  • BOM (Bill of Material) experience
  • Aerospace industry a plus
