Responsibilities

  • Leads the Tooling Design, Tooling Fabrication, NC Programming and Tool Crib teams.
  • Manages the development and design of tools, fixtures and other devices used for production based on engineering specifications.
  • Ensures the designed tools are consistent with standard tool configuration and effective.
  • Manages the development and optimization of NC Programs.
  • Provides input to strategic decisions that affect Production Operations.
  • Responsible for operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
  • Manages projects to reduce cost and lead time in manufacturing processes.
  • Manages projects to reduce perishable tooling costs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proficient in GD&T
  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certifications preferred
  • Experience in Design Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering
  • Three plus years’ experience with machining operations
