About the Opportunity

Help us succeed by doing your part as a member of our Quality Assurance department as a Quality Inspector who maintains quality standards; approves incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; documents inspection results; keeps measurement equipment operating; maintains safe and healthy work environment.




Responsibilities

Major duties of a Quality Assurance Inspector include:

  • Inspects manufactured products and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with customer specifications and purchase order requirements.
  • Inspect vendor supplied products to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Uses predetermined methods, operations, setups, and prescribed specifications to inspect visually in-process and completed units and subassemblies.
  • Accepts, rejects, or reworks defective or out of conformance assemblies.
  • Reads and verifies conformance with customer supplied engineering drawings and specifications
  • Inspect vendor supplied products to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Reads and verifies conformance with purchase order requirements
  • Inspects products at prescribed points in the manufacturing process
  • Performs First Article Inspections on required products
  • Communicates defect details in an effective manner to appropriate parties
  • May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Qualifications

Qualifications 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years experience of production inspection experience, preferably aerospace.
