Triumph Integrated Systems provides a full range of integrated solutions for aircraft manufactures around the globe. We partner with key manufacturers to produce crucial components, systems and subsystems required to help maintain a competitive and technological advantage. We provide design, development and support of internally designed components, subsystems and systems, as well as production of complex assemblies using external designs.  


Based in Yakima WA, Triumph Fluid, Power and Actuation employs approximately 300 personnel. The Company’s key products and services include design, development and manufacturing of hydraulic actiona systems and components.

We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Engineer will be ssupporting the Engineering job functions of Quality Assurance to meet customer and organizational objectives. This role will collaborate with company personnel to ensure compliance to company and customer specifications and expectations; and assists with the overall implementation and ongoing support of the QMS.


  • Manage the ISO 9001 / AS9100 QMS maintaining current standard requirements
  • Designs, installs and evaluates quality process sampling systems, procedures and statistical techniques.
  • Designs or specifies inspection methods and testing mechanisms and equipment.
  • Formulates or helps formulate quality policies, procedures, and work instructions in support of the Quality Management System.
  • Interfaces with all other functional areas within the company and with customers and suppliers on quality-related issues.
  • Provides ongoing training and development of quality and production personnel by organizing and presenting training activities, such as: quality requirements, measuring techniques, gauge usage, comparator print techniques, and other test procedures.
  • Key participant in internal and external quality audits.
  • Works with internal and external customers preparing and submitting FAIR’s, PFMEA’s, Control Plans, APQP’s and PPAP’s.
  • Support and assist with supporting LCS systems and Byte-wise systems for proper operation.
  • Reviews and writes ECR’s (Engineering Change Request), requesting or authorizing changes as needed.


  • 4 year technical desgree in Engineering. 
  • Will entertain new college grads
  • 3-5 years of previous experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment working within Quality Management Systems with ISO9001 or AS9100 preferred.
  • Experience working with statistical quality control tools (SPC) and metrics.
  • Experience reading, analyzing and interpreting engineering drawings as well as conducting product defect investigations, root cause analysis and corrective action proposals.
  • Experience leading quality activities within production in manufacturing.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel.
  • Ability to work with minimal direct leadership in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, analytical data-driven decision making capabilities with a commitment to quality and customer service.
  • Completion of Lean tools and principles coursework desired.
  • Strong problem-solving ability required
