Overview

Triumph Integrated Systems – Mechanical Solutions is a premier developer and producer of electromechanical controls and mechanisms for the Aerospace industry.  These products include push pull controls, related gearboxes and interfaces; pilot interface controls such as throttle quadrants and control sticks; control levers for landing gear, flap spoiler; electro-mechanical uplocks; latches; hold open rods.  Products are used on fixed and rotary wing platforms, commercial and military applications.  Supplier to nearly every aviation prime and many major subsystem suppliers worldwide.

 

The Quality Engineer coordinates product assurance procedures and ensures product compliance by utilizing a specialized combination of skill, knowledge, and ability.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates internal and external audits by maintaining contractual quality system requirements.
  • Arranges for external customer signatures requiring customer/source inspections by complying with purchase order requirements.
  • Monitor, review, and approve internal and external purchase orders by complying with contractual quality system requirements.
  • Maintain log of internal and external inspection reports including MRB activities and obtain corrective action by assuring supplier and internal customer responses are properly implemented through employee meetings and verification of responses.
  • Solves problems, makes policy and decisions, and troubleshoots by using good judgment and collaborating with other departments/suppliers.
  • Make recommendations for deletions of suppliers from approved supplier listing by monitoring trend analysis and inspection reports/responses of supplier base.
  • Monitors customer satisfaction/supplier relations by addressing problematic issues as they arise.
  • Contributes to team effort by maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Fosters positive relationships with internal and external customers.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 in a Quality Engineer role.
  • 10 years in a complex manufacturing, automotive or aerospace environment
  • BS in a technical field a plus
  • Knowledge of ISO9001, MIL‑Q‑9858 and FAR 21.
  • Knowledge of GD&T and its principles
  • Proficient in blue print reading and interpretation
  • Experience interfacing with customers
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
