Overview

Provide leadership for Manufacturing Operations process for the Nashville Site.

Responsibilities

Responsible for overseeing the manufacture and delivery process of aircraft structural components and ensures all customer requirements are met. Accountable for delivering customer requirements and for Safety, Quality, Schedule, Cost and Environmental performance. Holds Supply Chain and all other supporting functions accountable to execution of plans. Uses Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma concepts to implement continuous process improvements. Demonstrates Triumph values and provides leadership and talent development of workforce by incorporating values into performance through training, coaching, and mentoring.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree plus 10 years related experience. Master’s level degree a plus. Complex manufacturing process management experience required. Aerospace manufacturing environment preferred. Proven ability to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost initiatives. Demonstrated competency in utilizing support groups such as Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, Inventory Control, Human Resources, and cost accounting to meet objectives. Thorough technical knowledge of manufacturing performance metrics and the ability to predict the impact of methods and process changes on these metrics. Practical understanding of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma strategies required. Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact with all levels within and outside the organization. Union Shop experience a plus. Strong communications with Sr. Leadership and customers. Ability to manage complex scheduling and program management skills. This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a United States Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.
