Overview

Primary Quality interface between Triumph Aerospace Structures and Suppliers for surveillance, audits, and technical support. Handle the processing of Supplier generated nonconformance tags through the Material Review Board for programs. Ensure Suppliers provide effective and timely corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Monitor suppliers First Article Inspections activity via Net-Inspect.

Responsibilities

Validating Material Review Board (MRB) tag integrity and metric reporting. • Lead corrective action investigations for causes of nonconformance’s. • Utilize collective analysis tools for evaluating defect trends. • Lead the Program Team to implement process improvements that prevent defect recurrence. • Supporting Customer monthly/weekly performance/program reviews and associated actions. • Reviewing internal and supplier First Article Inspections (FAI's) AS9102 requirements. • Utilizing SQM Management Operating Systems and tools to drive continuous improvements. • Performing audits of subtier supplier quality systems. Support suppliers in quality performance issues. • Chairing the Corrective Action Board meeting and supporting quality system reviews. • Utilizing inspection tools and media to validate compliance with engineering requirements •Participate in Quarterly Reviews & present quality performance status to Management and/or Customers. •Travel (domestic/international) to Supplier locations to support corrective actions, process investigations & perform quality surveys.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will typically have a bachelor's degree or equivalent and 6-9 years of related experience. Experience in Aerospace/Aerostructure Manufacturing preferred. Familiarity with MRB/Corrective Action customer processes and Manufacturing Execution Systems a plus. Experience in Lean/Six Sigma also a plus.
