This position will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of an Assembly Unit on the G650 or G280 programs. Responsible for the Safety, Schedule, Quality, and Performance of the assigned unit(s).
This position is a front line manager and will manage hourly employees; candidates need to possess leadership traits that will guide the team with a strong positive influence. Interfaces with engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and customer acceptance. Apply knowledge of production techniques and company and customer policies and procedures and regulatory requirements to the scheduling and sequencing of tasks.
** Shifts will vary between 1st, 2nd and 3rd, as needed
BA degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of two years related experience leading/supervising or managing employees in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of G650 or G280 Wings a plus
Ability to drive process improvement activities to reduce cost, risk and improve efficiencies
Ability to interface with entire value stream to identify and resolve issues
Management experience in addition to strong leadership skills
Strong problem solving and decision making skills
Interpersonal communication skills with a variety of audiences (start-up meetings with crews, one on one to manage employee issues, and upper management, etc.).
Familiarity with continuous improvement and/or lean initiatives
